Pure Barre is the largest barre franchise in North America, with more than 500 studios. Pure Barre Charleston is a locally female-owned franchise with studios in Downtown and West Ashley. We offer a collection of full-body classes built movements that build strength, cardio fitness, and flexibility for every level, and a community of clients we know by name.

Role Description

The Studio Manager leads day-to-day operations across our Downtown and West Ashley studios. This role manages the front desk and sales team, drives membership growth and retention, and makes sure every client has a great experience. The Studio Manager also leads local marketing and grassroots community outreach, plans studio events, and partners with our Lead Teacher to keep both studios running smoothly and to brand standards.

This is an in-studio position, split between our two locations, with some flexibility to complete administrative work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach the front desk team
• Drive membership sales and deliver on monthly sales and retention goals
• Keep both studios clean, stocked, and running smoothly
• Handle client feedback and customer service issues
• Partner with the Lead Teacher on operations
• Plan and run studio events
• Build grassroots partnerships and community presence in Downtown and West Ashley

Qualifications

• Sales experience, with comfort working toward goals and commission
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team
• Strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Takes initiative and is open to direct feedback
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfort with CRM, scheduling software, and social media
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and events
• Supervisory or management experience preferred
• Fitness, wellness, hospitality, or event experience a plus

Compensation and Benefits

• $40,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus commission
• 2 weeks of paid time off, available after 90 days
• 6 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
