Studio Manager

About the role

BFT Bendigo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Studio Manager to join our team in Bendigo. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and success of our fitness studio. As Studio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience, and driving business growth. This position requires a hands-on approach combined with strong leadership capabilities to manage staff, maintain facility standards, and achieve operational targets.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee daily studio operations including opening and closing procedures, facility maintenance, and health and safety compliance

• Lead from the front running BFT Sessions with passion & a focus on coaching standards

• Manage and supervise studio staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

• Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming, inclusive environment for all members

• Manage membership accounts, including new member onboarding, renewals, and addressing member inquiries and concerns

• Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new members and retain existing ones

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of all studio facilities and equipment

• Coordinate class schedules and ensure all instructors are meeting performance standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in studio or fitness facility management

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members

• Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships with members

• Proficiency with management software and point-of-sale systems

• Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Passion for fitness, health, and wellness

• Certificate III or higher in Fitness or related qualification preferred

• Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
