What they need
Studio Manager
THE CALMM | Rose Bay, Sydney
Full-time | Monday to Friday | 12-month parental leave contract Commencing December 2026 (flexible, with handover preferred).
About The CALMM
The CALMM is a boutique wellness brand with studios in Rose Bay and Newport, specialising in remedial massage, lymphatic therapy and restorative bodywork.
Our approach extends beyond the treatment room. We believe that every touchpoint, from the first enquiry to the smallest detail within our spaces, should feel considered, personal and quietly elevated.
Alongside our studios, we’re home to the Dynamic Lymph Detox Method, our practitioner education program, and a growing community of wellness professionals and brand partners.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced, highly organised and naturally warm Studio Manager to join The CALMM on a 12-month parental leave contract.
Based at our Rose Bay studio, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the space while supporting practitioner coordination and client communications across both Rose Bay and Newport.
This is a hands-on, multifaceted position for someone who thrives in a boutique business environment. You’ll balance operational excellence with thoughtful client care, team leadership and opportunities to contribute to the continued growth of The CALMM.
We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, notices the finer details and brings both structure and initiative to their work.
Key Responsibilities
Studio Operations & Client Experience
- Manage the daily operations of our Rose Bay studio, ensuring the space is beautifully presented, organised and running seamlessly.
- Oversee client communications across both Rose Bay and Newport, responding to enquiries via phone, email and online channels.
- Manage Fresha booking enquiries, appointment changes, cancellations and client support, with bookings primarily made online.
- Maintain a consistent, elevated client experience across every interaction.
- Oversee studio supplies, linen, treatment room preparation and general operational requirements.
- Manage stock ordering, retail presentation and supplier relationships.
- Coordinate Shopify orders, online retail enquiries and product fulfilment.
Team Management & Coordination
- Manage practitioner rosters and scheduling across both studios.
- Act as the primary point of contact for practitioners, providing clear communication and day-to-day support.
- Coordinate practitioner onboarding, training requirements and operational updates.
- Support the recruitment and integration of new practitioners as required.
- Foster a positive, professional and collaborative team culture.
Partnerships, Events & Brand Growth
- Build and nurture B2B relationships with aligned businesses, including Pilates studios, fitness spaces, hotels, corporate wellness partners and allied health providers.
- Identify opportunities for brand collaborations, community partnerships and referral relationships.
- Assist in planning and coordinating studio events, brand activations, workshops and product launches.
- Support the development of corporate wellness and partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate on marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns and community engagement.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen retail, wholesale and client experiences.
About You
You’re someone who finds satisfaction in a beautifully run space, a well-supported team and a client experience that feels effortless.
You’ll bring:
- Previous experience in studio, clinic, spa, boutique retail, hospitality or wellness management.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to confidently manage competing priorities.
- A warm, polished and professional communication style.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence managing a team of independent practitioners.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and solve problems independently.
- Confidence using digital booking systems, Shopify and everyday business platforms.
- An eye for detail, presentation and brand consistency.
- An interest in business development, partnerships, events and community building.
- A genuine appreciation for wellness, bodywork and thoughtful client care.
Experience with Fresha, B2B partnerships, marketing or event coordination will be highly regarded.
What We Offer
- A full-time, Monday to Friday position based in beautiful Rose Bay.
- A supportive, close-knit team and a thoughtfully curated working environment.
- Discounted staff treatments (subject to confirmation).
- Autonomy and the opportunity to contribute ideas, develop partnerships and make a meaningful impact.
- The opportunity to be part of an established and evolving wellness brand.Apply
