What they need
PART-TIME STUDIO MANAGER
Flow Space Studios | Pilates + Yoga | North Perth
Part-time | 15–20 hours per week (opportunity to grow)
ABOUT FLOW SPACE
Flow Space is more than a place to take a Yoga or Pilates class.
Our studios are spaces where people come to move, connect and feel good in their bodies — while creating more strength, confidence and capability in their lives.
We’re looking for a Part-Time Studio Manager to help us elevate the Flow Space experience.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys people, loves creating experiences and is great at making things happen.
You’ll be a key part of our studios — connecting with members, supporting the team, creating engaging events and experiences, and helping the studio continue to grow.
THE ROLE
As Studio Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of the studios.
You’ll work across members, events, teachers, systems and studio operations, helping ensure the studio continues to deliver the high-quality experience Flow Space is known for.
A big part of the role will be creating opportunities for our community to connect beyond the regular class timetable.
That might mean organising workshops, planning social events, bringing in guest practitioners, creating member challenges or developing a new experience that adds another dimension to being part of Flow Space.
You’ll also take ownership of member conversion and retention — making sure new people are welcomed properly, members remain engaged throughout their journey and opportunities to deepen their relationship with Flow Space aren’t missed.
MEMBER EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY
· Be a visible and welcoming presence in the studio
· Build genuine relationships with members and become a familiar face
· Make new members and first-time visitors feel comfortable and connected
· Create meaningful touchpoints throughout the member journey
· Listen to member feedback and identify opportunities to continually enhance their experience
· Strengthen the sense of community around the studio
· Maintain the standards, personality and culture of Flow Space
· Look for opportunities to continually elevate the studio experience
EVENTS & EXPERIENCES
· Take ownership of planning and managing Flow Space events and community experiences
· Develop ideas for workshops, social events, member experiences and special activations
· Coordinate teachers, practitioners, suppliers and other partners involved in events
· Manage event logistics including scheduling, communication, promotion, bookings and setup
· Ensure events are delivered smoothly and create a great experience for members
· Look for opportunities to collaborate with local businesses and practitioners
· Review event attendance and feedback to understand what resonates with our community
· Develop and manage a regular calendar of events and experiences that deepen member engagement and add to the Flow Space community
MEMBER CONVERSION & RETENTION
· Own the journey from first visit / intro offer through to membership
· Follow up with new members and first-time visitors
· Have genuine conversations about people’s goals and needs
· Recommend the right membership or pathway when appropriate
· Stay connected to member engagement and identify opportunities to support members along their journey
· Proactively reach out to members who may need additional support or connection
· Track conversion and retention performance
· Work with the team to continually improve the member experience and conversion process
You don’t need to be a traditional salesperson — but you do need to be comfortable having conversations that can lead to memberships (how else can we help them if they don’t jump in).
TEAM & STUDIO OPERATIONS
· Help ensure the studio runs smoothly day to day
· Work closely with teachers to create a consistent member experience
· Support team communication, meetings and accountability
· Help maintain studio presentation and standards
· Identify operational opportunities and take ownership of solving them
· Coordinate studio activities, events and special projects
· Monitor key studio KPIs and report on performance
· Help create a positive, accountable and connected team environment
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who is warm, confident, organised, proactive and genuinely enjoys people.
Someone who can walk into a room and naturally make things happen.
You might come from fitness, wellness, hospitality, events, community management, membership-based businesses or another customer-facing environment.
You’ll ideally have experience in some of the following:
· You love movement! Yoga and / or Pilates (Hot Mat & Reformer) - passion for these modalities
· Customer or member experience
· Sales or member conversion
· Customer retention
· Team coordination
· CRM systems and follow-up
· Community building
You don’t need to tick every box.
What matters most is that you:
· Naturally connect with people
· Are confident starting conversations
· Are highly organised and reliable
· Love creating experiences for people
· Can take an idea and turn it into reality
· Have great attention to detail
· Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
· Are comfortable with numbers and KPIs
· Can balance people, creativity and commercial thinking
· Have high standards
· Are proactive, energetic and solutions-focused
· Care deeply about the experience people have in a studio
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Success in this role is about helping the studio continue to grow while maintaining the experience and community that make Flow Space special.
You’ll know you’re doing a great job when:
· Members know who you are and feel comfortable coming to you
· New members feel welcomed and supported from their first interaction
· Members are engaged with the broader Flow Space community
· Events and experiences are well attended, well organised and enjoyed
· Teachers feel supported and connected
· The studio continues to grow commercially
· Member conversion and retention remain strong
· The studio feels energetic, welcoming and well run
You’ll have clear KPIs around areas such as:
· Member conversion
· Member retention
· Member engagement
· Event participation
· Event performance
· Lead follow-up
· Membership growth
· Customer satisfaction
WHY FLOW SPACE?
Flow Space is evolving.
We’re building something bigger than a timetable of classes — a movement community where people become stronger, more capable and more connected.
This is an opportunity to have genuine influence over how that community continues to develop.
You’ll have the opportunity to create ideas, build relationships, bring experiences to life and have a real impact on the day-to-day experience of our members.
This is a role for someone who wants ownership, creativity and responsibility, rather than simply a list of tasks to complete.
If you’re someone who loves people, loves creating experiences and gets satisfaction from making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
