Studio Operations Assistant (Part-Time)

XMotive Dance Studio is looking for a dependable, energetic, and professional Studio Operations Assistant to help support our growing dance community.

This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible part-time work with opportunities to grow into a leadership role as the studio expands.

What You'll Do

• Open and close the studio when scheduled.
• Welcome members, instructors, parents, and guests.
• Monitor dance classes, rehearsals, rentals, and studio activities.
• Assist with member check-in and attendance.
• Ensure studio policies and safety guidelines are followed.
• Prepare the studio before activities and help clean up afterward.
• Report maintenance or security concerns to management.
• Help with event setup and breakdown.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the XMotive brand.

Schedule

This is an as-needed position based on the studio's operating schedule.

Typical shifts may include:

• Weekday evenings
• Saturday classes or rentals
• Sunday events
• Special performances and community events

Most weeks will range from 4–12 hours, depending on studio activity.

Compensation

• $18.00 per hour
• Paid every two weeks
• Additional hours become available as the studio grows.
• Opportunities for advancement into Lead Studio Assistant or Studio Manager.

• Reliable and punctual.

• Comfortable working independently.
• Great with people.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds when assisting with tables, chairs, or event setup.
• At least 18 years old with reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience

Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, recreation, dance, fitness, education, or event operations is preferred but not required.
