What they need
Looking for a role where you're trusted to manage, not just follow a list?
We're looking for a reliable self-starter who wants to grow in their role: someone who shows that they can self-manage and sees every task through to the finish without needing to be checked on. You're highly organized, juggle multiple tasks with ease, and get things done promptly, no procrastinating. You're a team player with an eye for detail everywhere, from how the studio looks to every email and text you send. You take initiative, solve problems before they grow, and take genuine pride in your work and in a studio that runs beautifully, all while making every client feel at home.
Who we are
barre3 Felida is a neighborhood boutique fitness studio that has been part of the Felida community for over a decade. As our Studio Operations Lead, you'll own the day-to-day running of our studio and work directly with the owner.
What you'll own
Studio operations and standards
- Daily operations: opening and closing procedures, shift checklists, and the systems that keep things running smoothly
- Studio standards, so the space is always clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready
- Catching the little things before anyone else does, and fixing them or getting them fixed
- Supply inventory and ordering, on budget
- Vendor, repair, and facility issues, from first call through resolution
- Finding what isn't working and building better systems
Client experience
- Be a welcoming, steady presence in the studio and make every client feel at home
- Give first-timers a warm, personal welcome and check in after their first classes
- Sell without selling: have genuine conversations with new clients about their experience and goals, and help them find the intro offer or membership that truly fits their needs
- Handle client questions, concerns, and requests with care and good judgment
- Create those small surprise-and-delight moments that keep clients coming back
Promotions and events
- Run the operational side of promotions: in-studio signage, setting up offers in our systems, and briefing the team
- Manage private events and workshops from first inquiry through setup, the event, and follow-up
- Coordinate logistics for community events and partnerships: supplies, setup, check-in, and cleanup
- Keep the studio calendar, event details, and promotion timelines organized and on track
Partnering with the owner
- Be the owner's go-to for operations
- Bring ideas and solutions, not just problems
- Share a short weekly update on what's done, what's coming up, and what needs attention
Must-haves
- 3+ years in operations, hospitality, retail, boutique fitness, events, or a similar role where you owned part of how a business ran
- Highly organized; you juggle multiple tasks and projects and get them done promptly, without procrastinating or needing reminders
- A sharp eye for detail and genuine pride in your work
- Warm and great with people; you can handle an upset client with calm and kindness
- Comfortable talking with new clients about intro offers and memberships; you lead with curiosity about their goals, not a sales pitch
- A self-starter who takes initiative and makes good decisions without needing step-by-step direction
- Comfortable with software and quick to learn new systems
- Available for a consistent weekly schedule, with some flexibility for events
Bonus points for
- Experience in a boutique fitness studio, spa, hotel, or restaurant
- Event planning or coordination experience
- Experience managing vendors, inventory, or budgets
- Familiarity with Mariana Tek, Mindbody, or similar booking software
- You already love barre3 (or movement in general)!
Perks
- Quarterly performance bonus
- Complimentary barre3 unlimited membership
- Retail discount
- Real ownership and a voice in how the studio runs
- A warm, supportive team and community
