What they need
Studio Producer
Location: Barcelona, Spain
Company: Scruffy Dog Creative Europe S.L.
Reports to: Senior Producer
Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive Studio Producer to support the smooth coordination of creative projects within our fast-paced, multidisciplinary Barcelona studio. Working under the direction of the Senior Producer, you will sit at the intersection of creative, production and operational teams — ensuring projects stay on track, workflows are clear, and all stakeholders are aligned. This is a coordination-focused role but will be central to keeping plans, people and processes running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate project activity across multiple creative projects from briefing through to completion under the direction of the Senior Producer
· Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams — designers, artists, technical specialists to align on tasks, timelines and deliverables
· Freelancer & contractor coordination: Support sourcing, onboarding, scheduling, availability tracking, day‑to‑day management and offboarding processes
· Translate creative briefs into clear task lists, workflows and deadlines for the team
· Track progress, flag risks, dependencies, scope changes or delays early — escalating to the Senior Producer for resolution
· Manage day‑to‑day client and stakeholder communication, providing regular progress updates and coordinating feedback
Support studio capacity planning and resource allocation alongside the Senior Producer
· Liaise with UK HR on hiring, onboarding, contracts, leave requests and team matters
· Coordinate with UK Finance on purchase orders, invoicing, budget tracking, expense claims and supplier payments
· Work with IT and third‑party technology providers to resolve access issues, set up tools, manage accounts and maintain studio systems
· Correspond and coordinate with external third‑party companies — vendors, partners, contractors and service providers — to confirm deliverables, timelines, quality standards and contractual arrangements
· Studio & Production Administration: Maintain shared project files, track action items, schedule meetings and reviews, prepare status updates, manage version control and keep studio workflows organised
· Assist with commercial tracking: log PO requests, supplier costs and change requests — all budget decisions and formal approval remain with the Senior Producer
· Maintain accurate production records, approvals, technical documentation and handover information throughout each project
· Contribute to refining and improving studio processes and workflows
Technical & Professional Requirements
· Proven experience as a Producer, Production Coordinator or similar coordination role within a creative environment
· Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects across design, themed entertainment, experiential or related sectors
· Experience coordinating with internal departments and external third‑party organisations
· Excellent organisational skills — comfortable managing studio administration, cross‑team liaison and multi‑site communication
