CIEE is seeking a Temporary Casual (38hrs) Program Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Sydney from November 2026 through July 2027 with the potential for extension. As a Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the student experience of our in bound US Study Abroad programs, across High School and College. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing high level support to ensure seamless and efficient program delivery.

Multiple roles may be available and roles may be tailored to candidate interests and business needs in Event Programming, Housing, Student Life, and Academics. Please indicate your preference in a particular area with your application.

Primary Responsibilities

• Providing on-site support, guidance and assistance to students, ensuring a positive experience.

• Facilitating, and often leading, engaging cultural activities, excursions, and social events to enrich the students' time in Sydney.

• Providing exceptional administrative support including communications, finance, and logistics to ensure the smooth running of all programs and activities.

• Responding to medical and other emergencies as appropriate, ensuring proficient and timely reporting of student cases to management, including prompt reporting of incidents in Salesforce.

• Maintaining understanding and compliance with all CIEE policies regarding health, safety, and security.

What we're looking for

• Degree in a relevant field, such as Education, International Relations, Business, or other related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in a student services or program coordination role, preferably in an international or educational setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Superior judgment when dealing with confidential information and evolving challenges unique to the student experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and confidence leading groups.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with student information systems
• Experience using event planning software. Eg. Teams, Eventbrite.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle dynamic and evolving operational needs.
