McMullen is a luxury multi-brand boutique built on a clear point of view: that

fashion is more powerful when it makes room for new voices. For nearly two

decades we've championed emerging designers alongside established names,

building a curated edit and a community of clients who trust us to find what they

didn't know they were looking for.

This fall, we open our flagship at 135 Maiden Lane in San Francisco — joining our

Sacramento Street boutique and marking our most significant expansion yet. We're

hiring stylists at multiple levels to build the team that will shape what the flagship

feels like from day one.

The Role

Stylists are the heart of McMullen. You're the person clients trust to read the

room, pull the piece, and tell them honestly what works. Whether you're early in

your luxury career or coming in with a deep client book, this is a role for someone

who loves the floor, loves the product, and loves the relationships.

We're hiring at two levels — Level 2 (mid-career, 1–3 years of luxury experience)

and Level 3 Lead Stylist (5+ years, established client book). Tell us where you sit.

What You'll Do

• Build and grow a personal book of clients through appointments, outreach, and

styling sessions

• Deliver a luxury-level experience through expert styling, deep product

knowledge, and thoughtful follow-up

• Drive personal and store sales goals by cultivating long-term client

relationships

• Stay current on designer collections, product launches, and the broader fashion

landscape

• Lead or support private appointments, events, trunk shows, and personalized

shopping experiences

• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless service and consistent

brand expression

• Bring real curiosity to the work — about the brands we carry, the clients we

serve, and the world they live in

What We're Looking For

• 1–5+ years of styling or luxury retail sales experience, depending on level

• A genuine love of fashion, with knowledge of designers and a curatorial eye

• Strong client-building instincts — for Level 3 candidates, an established and

active client book

• Warmth, polish, and the ability to make every client feel seen

• Self-motivated and reliable — comfortable owning your book without daily

oversight

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Availability on weekends and during peak retail seasons

• Based in or near San Francisco, with daily presence at the Maiden Lane

flagship

Compensation

Competitive base compensation, commission on personal sales, and a team bonus

pool tied to store performance. Benefits and employee discount included.

Compensation is scaled to level and experience and discussed in the interview

process.
