Sub-Assembler

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sub-Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will be working Monday - Thursday (38 hours per week).

Purpose: responsibility for the operation of sub assembly area to ensure all products are produced to best achievable quality on time and maintenance of sub-assembly equipment

Key Responsibilities

· To ensure the stores / sub-assembly dept. follows the business process and ensure that procedures meet the current practice.

· Proactive searching for ways to improve performance in both quality and output.

· Promote a working environment that results in effective contribution by all towards continuous improvement within business as a whole.

· Ensure that work is carried out meeting all proper health and safety requirements.

· To maintain a high level of housekeeping and manage waste procedures.

· Work with sales and production management to reduce errors in production specifications.

To take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.

Experience

• Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment

Pay: £12.71-£12.91 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
