Sub-Con Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sub-Con Coordinator to manage the flow of stamped parts to and from sub-contractors and suppliers for secondary processes such as plating, painting, heat treatment, and tapping. You will ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and smooth coordination between the factory and vendors.

Key Responsibilitie:

• Coordinate send-out and return of stamped parts to/from sub-contractors and suppliers
• Issue sub-contract work orders, delivery orders (DO), and material requisitions
• Track and follow up on sub-contractor delivery schedules to meet production deadlines
• Verify quantities received against quantities sent out; resolve discrepancies
• Liaise with QC/QA on rejected parts and coordinate rework or replacement
• Align sub-con schedules with production planning to avoid delays
• Maintain accurate records of DOs, invoices, and vendor performance
• Monitor sub-contractor compliance with quality, packaging, and documentation requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering fields, Supply Chain, or related field
• 2–4 years in sub-contract management, outsourcing coordination, or production planning
• Preferably from metal stamping, precision engineering, or manufacturing background
• Familiar with metal stamping secondary processes (plating, heat treatment, painting, etc.)
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and DO/material flow documentation
• English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage
• Strong follow-up, attention to detail, and multitasking skills
