Sub-Contractor, Electrician

RENUCO Ltd is looking for a reliable, hard‑working Sub‑Contractor Electrician to support our installation teams on domestic and commercial renewable energy projects and electrical installations. We specialise in solar PV, battery storage, bird‑proofing mesh, and a range of electrical installation, and we need someone who can work safely, efficiently, and professionally on customer properties.

Role Responsibilities

• Install batteries, inverter and EV charging points.
• Carry out all aspects of the installation inlcuding running cables and testing/inspecting.
• Support roof‑based tasks including panel handling and cable routing.
• Help install bird‑proofing mesh around solar arrays.
• Prepare and maintain tidy, safe working areas.
• Use basic hand tools safely
• Remove waste and manage materials throughout the job
• Follow all on‑site health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Up to date electrical installaion qualification
• Solar PV and EV charger qualifications preffered but not essential. Training will be provided
• Must have own tools and transport
• Comfortable working at height
• Physically fit with good manual handling awareness
• Own PPE: hard hat, gloves, boots, high‑vis
• ECS card preferred but not essential
• Must have own transport

Work Details

• Sub‑contractor position
• Paid per day or per job (depending on project). Rates negotiable
• Regular ongoing work available for the right person

Pay: From £200.00 per day
