Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Subcon Lead Buyer, Section Manager. Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage subcontractors commercially (RFQs, prices, consignment, etc.).

• Contribute on the assessment of performance of subcontractors.

• Source applicable subcontractors which will fit in OPTO portfolio.

• Ensuring subcontractor prices are competitive in the market.

• Market research / analysis

• Cost analysis

• Collaborating with subcontractors on cost savings initiatives.

• Establish, maintain, and update contractual agreements (NDA, MPA, CSR, BCP). (Coordination with Legal)

What You Will Bring Along

• Degree on Engineering or Business course.
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
• Good in sourcing and negotiations.
• Knowledgeable in semiconduction materials and semiconductor sub contractor market (OSAT), preferably with at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry.
• Knowledgeable in SAP.
