Subcontracting Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Proposal: assist in preparing the approved subcontractor list, enquire about or provide reference price rates.
• Execute project subcontracting activities.
• Prepare the floor price evaluation based on historical unit prices or market conditions for negotiation and bid awarding.
• Coordinate and handle issues and problems between subcontractors and CTCI Thailand site office.
• Review the contractual unit rates of site subcontracting as a reference for future site subcontracting.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining long-term subcontracting agreements, unit rates of hourly labor, and long-term machinery subcontracting agreements.
• Assist in developing new subcontractors, checking subcontractors' credit and workload, and registering new subcontractors.
• Develop and survey new and existing subcontractors.
• Develop long-term subcontractors, establish unit rates for hourly labor, and monitor unit rates and quality performance of long-term machinery subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Male or Female, aged 28 years old
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in cost estimation and subcontractor management.
• At least 2 years of experience in EPC turnkey business.
• Familiarity with specific sectors like oil and gas, petrochemicals, infrastructure, or heavy construction.
• Understanding of project conditions in EPC fields.
• Understanding of standard industry contracts (such as FIDIC) and legal/commercial terms.
• Experience in drafting, bidding, evaluating, awarding, and closing subcontracts.
• Strong analytical capabilities to resolve contractual disputes and handle site-level coordination.
• Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Basic project management skills and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English with TOEIC 500 up
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
