Submittal Engineer - Must have AutoCAD experience

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Preparation of AutoCAD shop drawings and submittal packages within a fast-paced environment.
• Review of construction drawings and specifications with Estimators and Project Mangers.
• Perform analytical problem-solving through various construction issues and detailing conflicts.
• Coordinate, communicate, and implement construction revisions.
• Communicate with the Technical Services Department of our vendor partners.
• Assist in the professional development and training of co-workers.
• Prepare construction submittals for various building envelope systems, particularly roofing and architectural metal panel/other cladding systems.
• Manage multiple responsibilities and tasks and understand building construction documents and division of trades.
• All other related duties.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of recent experience with AutoCAD/drafting
• Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Technical knowledge of or familiarity with architectural construction detailing and manufacturer fabrication drawings.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management and peers in a team building environment.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
