Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble a variety of subs and sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food prep area, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Provide friendly, prompt service to customers, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Restock ingredients and supplies regularly to keep the workstation organized and fully stocked
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area as needed

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced café or retail setting
