Purpose of the position: As Subsea Mechanical and structural engineer, you will respond to the Mechanical and special Tool office manager and be part of the Sonsub office.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Design of structural and machine elements with identification of transmission gears and mechanics/electromechanics components. This activity includes also the selection of commercial components and of materials to be used, with particular attention to the corrosion, machining process, welding process and fabrication tolerances issues
• It is requested the capability to design taking into consideration aspects related to production cost saving, components standardization, easiness integration/testing/maintenance
• Management and control of external engineering resources in charge to give assistance in 2D/3D design
• Management and control of external subcontractors in charge of fabrication and testing of the designed equipments
• Management of 3D models produced both internally and externally of the office with filing the documents in Autodesk Vault

What are we looking for? Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 5 years as a mechanical design engineer lead within industry sector (oil&gas / Automation)

Languages: Italian, English Technical/IT Skills: Autodesk Vault and Inventor, Ansys for finite element analysis, Office suite What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel in Italy or abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the project assigned.
