Substack Newsletter Content Manager

What We’re Looking For

• FILIPINO applicant
• Hands-on experience managing or publishing content on Substack
• Strong understanding of:
• Substack Articles
• Substack Notes
• Video posts
• Comments
• Free and paid subscriber settings
• Experience managing newsletters, creator-led content, or digital publications
• Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
• Excellent content-repurposing skills
• Ability to turn transcripts and long-form material into clear, engaging content
• Strong understanding of hooks, headlines, teasers, and calls to action
• Familiarity with basic SEO principles
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing publishing and audience settings
• Excellent written English
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Clear and proactive communication

Experience with:

• Growing a Substack publication
• Growing a newsletter or email list
• Growing paid subscribers or memberships
• Creator-led businesses
• Personal brands
• Digital publications
• Subscription-based content businesses
• Community management
• Newsletter monetization
• Content analytics and growth experimentation

Initial Assignment

The successful candidate will take ownership of preparing, optimizing, and publishing content provided or approved by the Content Lead.

This may include:

• Video posts
• Transcript-based articles
• Original articles
• Free subscriber content
• Paid subscriber content
• Substack Notes
• Promotional content

You’ll also be expected to identify opportunities to repurpose existing content, increase engagement, and improve subscriber growth.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
