Substitute Bus Driver

Responsibilities

• Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license and proper legal credentials.
• Supervise and maintain control of a school bus with passengers.
• Communicate with parents, students, staff, and administration about disciplinary issues.
• Ability to demonstrate and perform defensive driving strategies.
• Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Director of Transportation.

Reports To Director of Transportation

Compensation Based on Salary Schedule

Duration Based on CPCSC needs

• Part-time (seasonal)
• Regular school hours
• Substitute positions lead to regular driving routes

Qualfications

• Minimum of a High School diploma
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen
