Substitute Classroom Teacher

Eastside Community School is nestled on five acres in the Sammamish Plateau area of Issaquah, WA. We serve students from Preschool through Grade 8, with a Parent & Child class for those just beginning their journey in Waldorf Education.

Qualifications

• BA or BS required
• Experience teaching grade school or middle school age students
• Washington State Teaching Certificate preferred
• Waldorf Teaching Certificate and/or Waldorf teaching experience preferred
• Strong student management skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Be adaptable; able to change work plan based on needs of particular class

Compensation

Substitution for Lead Teachers $25.00 to $45.00 per hour
