Substitute Education Technician

Position: Substitute Education Technician – Special Ed

Location: Helen Thompson School (K-5 elementary)

Date Position Available: Immediate Opening

• Assignment will be 6-8 weeks in duration

Qualifications: Current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education. Ed Tech Certification preferred.

Description: MSAD #11 is seeking a dependable, student centered Education al Technician Substitute to provide consistent, individualized support to a student during a six-to-eight-week assignment. The successful candidate will be able to:

• Provide a high degree of consistency, predictability, and follow-through in daily interactions and routines
• Reliably follow established schedules, routines, support plans, and staff direction.
• Build a positive, supportive relationship with the student while maintaining clear and consistent expectations
• Work effectively within a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment

Substitute Pay: $18.57 per hour
