Substitute Lunchroom/Playground Supervisor

Reports To: Principal Supervises: Lunchroom, Playground, and Students Department: Building Classification: Non-Certified Work Year: At-will Contract Dates: School Year FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary: $16.40/hour Qualifications: High School Diploma preferred; may need CPR training Purpose: To provide for the students’ safety and needs by supervising. • Patrol designated areas.
• Maintains a supervised lunch period both inside and outside. Student conduct is the direct responsibility of the supervisor.
• Enforces good lunchroom manners. Running and misconduct shall not be tolerated.
• Supervises playground.
• Cleaning of lunchroom is not a primary responsibility of the supervisor but at times may be necessary.

Playground Aide

• Patrol designated areas.
• Supervises playground by enforcing reasonable safety practices.
• Mediate disagreements.
• Escort injured students to school office.
• Enforces playground rules and performs additional duties assigned by the principal.
