Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons based on provided curriculum plans, ensuring continuity of instruction across diverse subjects such as math, literacy, and creative writing
• Implement classroom management strategies to promote respectful behavior and a productive learning atmosphere
• Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of students with disabilities or developmental challenges, including those with autism or other special education requirements
• Organize classroom activities that foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking among students
• Support early childhood education initiatives by nurturing young learners’ social and emotional development
• Maintain clear communication with school staff regarding student progress and any behavioral or academic concerns
• Uphold safety protocols and ensure a secure environment for all students during instructional time

Skills

• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and implementation across various subjects, including literacy education and Montessori methods
• Proven experience working with children of different age groups and backgrounds in classroom settings
• Expertise in classroom activity organization, behavior management, and instructional adaptability to meet diverse student needs
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those with developmental disabilities or autism, demonstrating patience and specialized support skills
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and students
• Ability to tutor or mentor students in areas such as creative writing or literacy development
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childcare practices to support young learners’ growth
