Responsibilities
- Follow classroom lesson plans and teacher instructions
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
- Supervise students throughout the school day
- Follow district policies and procedures
- Communicate relevant information to the classroom teacher and administration
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
- New York State teacher certification preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages
- New York State Education Department fingerprint clearance is required
