PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serves in the capacity of a substitute teacher in the absence of the classroom teacher.

Requirements Educational Level: High School Diploma or GED required ; college degree preferred

Certification/License Required: None

Experience: None

Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Written and oral communication; student management

The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the Above Requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.

Utilizes appropriate procedures for student safety and welfare.

Manages classroom and provides instruction according to plans as prepared by the classroom teacher.

Uses appropriate behavior management strategies.

Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.

Pay Daily Substitute Pay is $150 for a full day.
