Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage food handling responsibilities with strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, kitchen equipment, and dining areas throughout your shift
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling at all times
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, ovens, slicers, and refrigerators

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, especially quick-service or fast-food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless order processing
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining a clean work environment
