Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items following company standards and recipes
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage food service customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards
• Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions, card payments, and giving correct change
• Assist customers with product selection, upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including slicers, ovens, toasters, and refrigeration units
• Ensure food handling procedures comply with health regulations to guarantee food safety for all guests
• Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including stocking supplies and maintaining product displays
• Uphold a clean workspace by regularly cleaning counters, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts

Experience

• Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency but training will be provided
• Food preparation or culinary experience is advantageous for understanding food safety standards and kitchen operations
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Customer service experience in retail or food industry settings helps deliver exceptional guest interactions
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records
• Experience operating kitchen equipment safely ensures smooth daily operations
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in food handling promotes a safe dining environment

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
