We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches while ensuring a high standard of food safety and hygiene. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive dining experience. Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing vegetables, meats, and cheeses.
• Upsell additional items to customers, enhancing their overall experience.
• Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations while handling food products.

Skills

• Culinary skills with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
• Basic maths skills for handling orders and managing inventory effectively.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining food quality and presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• A friendly disposition with the ability to provide excellent customer service and help customers with their choices.
