Subway Store Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager performs and directs overall restaurant management. Directs staff to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Recruits staff and oversees training program. Responsible for inventory and money control systems – may establish inventory schedules. Responsible for local marketing initiatives. Maintains business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to:

· Completes and posts staff work schedules timely.

· Assists with recruiting efforts.

· Provides & executes rewards and incentive programs for team

· Consistently coaches and mentors staff.

· Conducts necessary performance reviews and probationary assessments as needed.

· Communicates changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to staff and enforces compliance with same.

· Ensures that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policies are followed.

· Manages daily alarms process and requests and changes codes as needed

· Maintains business records as outlined in the Subway® Operations Manual: Daily Procedures.

· Analyzes business records in an effort to increase sales.

· Supports local and national marketing initiatives.

· Plans and assists with special events and promotions.

· Completes University of Subway® courses as directed and ensures team members do same

· Provides training to existing and new team members

· Ensure proper orientation of new team members and completes necessary documentation

· Conducts weekly inventory and reports timely on same

· Conducts store ordering as needed

· Ensures that sufficient daily food, beverage, condiment and other service items are readily available throughout each shift

· Enforces company control policy and procedures and ensures adherence to same with team members

· Ensuring daily deposits, safe counts and cash management controls are executed as needed and necessary documentation completed

· Responsible for controlling cost and monitoring and reporting waste

· Ensure store visits are up to standard in anticipation of store audits

· Ensure that adherence to brand standards with regards to the opening and closing guidelines

· Has appropriate knowledge of company policies and procedures that may be needed to be executed ( e.g incident reporting, alarm code changes, etc.)

· Any other reasonable duties as assigned by Sr. Management
