Sulier Quality Management ENGINEER

Tasks and responsibilities

1. Incoming Material Quality

   • Verify, analysis, and troubleshoot material quality problems at incoming and production.
   • Conduct regular material review meeting with related departments and suppliers.
   • Report incoming material status and quality conditions to superior.

2. Supplier Development

·         Track and monitor supplier performance.

·         Establish audit plan and conduct periodic supplier audit.

·         Conduct regular quality improvement meetings with suppliers.

·         Develop ship to stock system with suppliers.

1. New supplier/material approval

·         Source and perform new supplier/material evaluation.

·         Organize new supplier/material approval process.

·         Establish inspection plans and inspection criteria for new material.

Authorization

1. Issue of technical documents with approval from BT TPS QM SQM Manger.
2. Freeze all incoming nonconforming material.
3. Liaise with supplier to resolve material quality problems.
4. Establish supplier audit plan with approval form BT TPS QM SQM Manager.
5. Provide recommendation for new supplier/material.

Conditions of employment and interaction

Cooperation / adjustment with project leaders of other internal departments within BT TPS

Working closely with TPS management and heads of departments of TPS

Requirements

Education:

Degree/Diploma in any engineering discipline

Experience:

·      Experience in quality assurance/control for at least 3 years.

·      Experience in IATF 16949/VDA 6.3 Quality System, ISO 9001QMS

·      Experience in performing  Audits

·      Preferably working in any manufacturing industry, certified with QM system

Knowledge:

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS and POWER POINT)

·         Knowledge on SAP is added advantage.

Personal attributes:

• Ability to communicate with clients, consultants, auditor, etc.
• Able to travel Overseas.
