SUMMER 2027 CAMP INSTRUCTORS WANTED

Town of Holly Springs Parks & Recreation | Contract instructor opportunities

Have a ready-to-teach summer camp concept? We are seeking experienced instructors, educators, artists, and organizations to lead engaging youth camps at Town facilities.

The opportunity

• $1,500 flat contractor payment per five-day, half-day camp (subject to approved contract terms)
• Camp sessions: 9 a.m.–1 p.m. or 1–5 p.m.
• Minimum enrollment: 8 participants
• Contractors plan and lead instruction and supply program materials
• Areas of interest include arts, theatre, music, cooking, and other youth enrichment

Before you submit — quick readiness checklist

☐ I have a specific camp concept and can describe activities, goals, and intended participant ages.

☐ I can propose dates, a daily schedule, capacity, and staffing/instructor details.

☐ I have relevant experience or qualifications to teach the proposed camp.

☐ I understand that a complete proposal is required; “TBD” or “whatever you need” is not sufficient.

☐ I can meet the Town’s contractor onboarding requirements, including applicable background screening, vendor/tax paperwork, and insurance.

Insurance: please review before applying

For standard low-risk instructional services, the Town generally requires commercial general liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence / $2 million aggregate, plus additional-insured coverage as applicable. Proof of workers’ compensation is required for vendors employing three or more people. The Town determines final requirements based on the services proposed. Insurance documentation is required before services begin.
