Summer Intern (VICPA)

The Visual, Audio, Creative Content Professionals Association (Singapore) (VICPA) was established in July 2021 to champion fair treatment, sustainable careers, and professional recognition for Singapore’s freelance and self-employed creatives. We represent photographers, videographers, writers, illustrators, on-screen talent, producers, designers, digital media artists, production crew, and many more creative professionals—advocating for fair contracting practices, safer work environments, intellectual property rights, and broader industry standards that protect and uplift creatives.

As an NTUC-affiliated association, VICPA provides practical support through legal clinics, work advisory, subsidised training, and NTUC’s extensive network of members and companies for business opportunities. We also run workshops and offer guidance on good contracting practices, business growth, and professional networking, empowering creatives to safeguard their rights, strengthen their careers, and shape a fairer creative industry. Key Responsibilities

Develop Marketing Collaterals

• Design visually engaging marketing materials such as posters, eDMs, and social media content (reels, stories, etc.), for VICPA events and campaigns.
• Work closely with the team to ensure all materials align with VICPA’s brand identity and messaging.

Event Outreach and Marketing

• Conceptualise and implement creative ways to promote VICPA at roadshows, creative industry events, and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with staff to design interactive elements, such as engaging booth setups and giveaways, to attract freelance creatives.
• Prepare presentations or short videos to highlight VICPA’s initiatives, benefits, and partnerships when meeting stakeholders.

Content Creation and Social Media

• Assist in managing VICPA’s social media platforms and website by creating and scheduling posts, stories, and event highlights.
• Support the development of campaigns aimed at growing VICPA’s digital presence and member engagement.

Event Support

• Provide on-ground support during VICPA events, including setting up marketing displays and assisting with logistics.
• Ensure smooth coordination of marketing-related activities before, during, and after events.

Requirements

• Proficient in design tools such as Canva or similar applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders and freelancers.
• Proactive, creative, and adaptable, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
