Summer Sales Internship

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an aspiring Sales professional to fill a Sales Internship position. Our ideal applicant is a current student or a recent graduate of an business, marketing or communications program. While you do not need to have prior job experience, you must have effective communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and team members.

At the beginning of your summer sales internship, you will be given a few projects – set to be completed before the summer is over. You will work with the team to transition the project to other associates and present your project at the completion of your summer timeline.

Westermeyer Industries designs, manufactures, and distributes high-quality components and accessories for the refrigeration and air-conditioning industries. Products include pressure vessels such as oil separators, receivers, accumulators, oil filters, condensers, and evaporators, as well as level and pressure detection devices and a range of replacement parts. TYPE OF POSITION

Summer Internship — 8-11 weeks

$15-$20 /hr

Expected Hours — 40 per week

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS

• Maintain project timeline and requirements
• Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Recent degree or current enrollment in an business, marketing or communications program
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Flexible schedule
• Strong organizational and communications skills

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Sophomore, Junior or Senior year students
