Sunday Housekeeper

Overview

This is a position for every Sunday with the option of another day.

A gas allowance is paid if you live more than 10km one way from our location.

Join our dynamic team as a Housekeeper and play a vital role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for residents, guests.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, common areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, carpets, windows, furniture, and fixtures to uphold hygiene standards
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing as needed
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure availability for residents or guests
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
• Adhere to established cleaning schedules and quality standards to deliver consistent service excellence

Skills

• Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety practices
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, mops, and steam cleaners efficiently
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within designated timeframes
• Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members and supervisors
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques preferred but not required

Pay: $18.25-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
