Superintendent

Doolee Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our growing team. This site-based role will oversee the successful delivery of civil construction projects across Western Australia, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for leading site teams, coordinating resources, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage site resources to achieve production targets and project schedules;
• Lead and supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently;
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of contractual requirements and project specifications;
• Provide strong leadership through a hands-on presence on site, offering direction, guidance, and support to work crews;
• Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and relevant legislation;
• Monitor project progress and provide timely and accurate reporting to management and clients;
• Work closely with the Project Management team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget;
• Promote and maintain Doolee Construction's commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance;
• Assist in planning upcoming works and identifying opportunities to improve productivity and project outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the civil construction and/or mining industry (essential);
• Demonstrated experience managing civil construction projects and work crews;
• Strong understanding of concrete construction and associated civil works;
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project documentation;
• Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills;
• Confident communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with employees, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
• Current C Class Driver's Licence;
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Leadership, or a related field will be highly regarded;
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
