Superintendent

Location: Bronx, NY

Area of Responsibility: Assigned to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of a designated residential building in the Bronx.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Maintain and service building systems, including boilers, water systems, and elevators.
• Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and building emergencies.
• Complete apartment turnovers and prepare units for new residents.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate and work alongside porters and handymen on daily maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Strong experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Available to respond to emergency maintenance calls.
• On-site or nearby residency preferred.
• Previous superintendent experience is preferred.
