Superintendent

Job Summary

Starlife Builders is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mid-rise and/or high-rise multifamily construction and will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes, site operations, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities and ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, trades, and other field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and safety.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve field issues or potential delays.
• Enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate and support required inspections throughout the construction process.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, site documentation, and progress updates.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mid-rise and/or high-rise multifamily construction.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience supervising construction operations, subcontractors, trades, and field personnel.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, building codes, and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with construction management software, digital documentation, and reporting tools.
• OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred.
