Superintendent

A leading commercial builder is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join its growing operations team in Calgary.

With a strong backlog of work and a reputation built on quality, collaboration, and long-term client relationships, this organization delivers a diverse range of commercial, institutional and light industrial (warehouse) projects in Calgary and surrounding area.

As Superintendent, you will take ownership of site operations from project start-up through completion, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction activities and daily operations
• Coordinate trades, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Drive project schedules and proactively address site challenges
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
• Lead site meetings and provide regular project updates
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract documents and company standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
• Proven ability to manage schedules, trades, and project execution
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Thorough understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
