Role Description The Superintendent role at CCS Group, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Waverly, NE. This role oversees daily field operations for concrete silo repair and maintenance projects, including planning work schedules, coordinating crews, and managing subcontractors. The Superintendent ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope by monitoring progress, inspecting work quality, and enforcing safety standards and company procedures. Typical responsibilities include reading and interpreting plans, organizing materials and equipment, communicating with project managers and clients, and resolving issues that arise on-site. The role also involves documenting project activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting continuous improvement in field processes and safety performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction or industrial field crews, preferably in concrete, structural repair, or heavy civil environments.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to coordinate labor, materials, and equipment on multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, subcontractors, and clients, and for providing clear instructions on-site.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, including enforcing safety policies, conducting safety meetings, and identifying and mitigating site hazards.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (email, spreadsheets, project documentation tools) and willingness to use digital reporting systems.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, outdoor environment, including climbing, lifting, and working at heights when required.
• Prior superintendent or foreperson experience is strongly preferred; experience in concrete silos or similar structures is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in construction management or safety are beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
