Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Superintendent to take a key leadership role within a large industrial processing operation in Boron, California.

This is an opportunity for an experienced industrial electrical leader who enjoys being close to operations, solving complex electrical problems, developing technical teams, and improving reliability across a large-scale facility.

What You’ll Lead

• Lead approximately 6 electrical supervisors and 50+ electrical craftsmen across multiple plant areas.
• Provide technical leadership across 480V, 4.16kV and higher-voltage electrical systems.
• Drive electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability, preventive maintenance and shutdown execution.
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades and modernization of aging electrical infrastructure.
• Work closely with Instrumentation & Controls and PLC teams to resolve plant and equipment issues.
• Support electrical systems associated with motors, pumps, conveyors, boilers, cogeneration and other process equipment.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs, work management and reliability performance.
• Maintain a strong safety culture while coaching and developing supervisors and skilled trades.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience leading electrical maintenance or operations within a heavy industrial/process environment.
• Experience in mining, minerals processing, oil & gas, refining, chemical, power generation, cement, aggregates or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of 480V electrical systems with exposure to 4.16kV/medium voltage systems.
• Experience leading supervisors and skilled electrical trades in a large industrial facility.
• Background in electrical reliability, maintenance planning, shutdowns and capital projects.
• Understanding of instrumentation and controls/PLC systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with cogeneration, boilers, motors, pumps, conveyors or similar process equipment is a plus.
• Strong safety mindset with the ability to coach, influence and develop an experienced team.
