They are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent with a strong post-tension concrete background who has independently led major ground-up construction projects for the past seven or more years.

Position Overview

The Traveling Superintendent will serve as the primary on-site leader overseeing all field operations for ground-up industrial and data center developments ranging from $60M–$80M+ .

This individual will take full ownership of project execution, including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, safety, quality control, and construction sequencing from groundbreaking through turnover.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with post-tension concrete construction , a proven track record of independently leading large-scale projects, and the ability to manage complex field operations in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently lead ground-up industrial and data center construction projects valued at $60M–$80M+
• Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion
• Manage and coordinate post-tension concrete construction, structural systems, and complex building operations
• Direct subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel
• Develop, maintain, and execute construction schedules to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Oversee concrete operations, structural sequencing, MEP coordination, and building envelope construction
• Maintain strict safety standards, quality control, and compliance with project specifications
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and manage daily field operations
• Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize delays
• Collaborate directly with Project Managers, development teams, and ownership
• Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
• Foster a high-performing, accountable, and safety-focused jobsite culture
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget

Requirements

• 7+ Years of Experience Independently Leading Large-Scale Ground-Up Construction Projects
• Proven Track Record Managing Projects Valued at $60M–$80M+
• Post-Tension Concrete Construction Experience Required
• Strong Background in Industrial, Data Center, Distribution, or Large-Scale Commercial Construction
• Experience Working for a Commercial General Contractor or Developer / General Contractor
• Strong Knowledge of Structural Concrete, Construction Sequencing, and Complex Building Systems
• Ability to Independently Manage Large Subcontractor Teams and Field Operations
• Experience Coordinating Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Trades
• Strong Scheduling, Leadership, Communication, and Problem-Solving Skills
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or Microsoft Project Preferred
• Willingness to Travel Nationwide for Extended Project Assignments
• Proximity to a Major Airport Preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience Delivering Ground-Up Data Centers or Mission-Critical Facilities
• Background in Large-Scale Industrial Distribution Centers or Amazon Fulfillment Facilities
• Extensive Post-Tension Concrete Experience
• Experience Working Directly with Developers and Ownership Groups
• Proven Ability to Manage Aggressive Construction Schedules and Multiple Subcontractor Teams
