Superintendent (Commercial) Location: Herndon, VA

Salary: $110K-$180K (Based on Experience)

Position Overview

A leading commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This individual will coordinate subcontractors, manage job site activities, and serve as the primary field leader throughout the construction process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
• Strong background managing commercial construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and field personnel
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day job site operations
• Manage subcontractors, field crews, and project schedules
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within scope
• Conduct site meetings and coordinate trade activities
• Monitor quality control and ensure workmanship meets project standards
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and manpower needs
