Superintendent (Concrete Construction)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent specializing in Concrete Construction to lead and oversee large-scale concrete projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of concrete construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Duties

• Lead and supervise concrete construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
• Develop detailed project schedules to coordinate activities and meet deadlines.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of concrete work.
• Enforce strict adherence to OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers on scheduling adjustments, resource allocation, and project milestones for seamless project delivery.
• Foster effective communication among team members, clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure clarity of project goals and expectations.
• Skills
• Extensive experience with heavy civil or commercial concrete construction projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and federal construction safety regulations.
• Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans accurately.
• Proven ability in project scheduling, budget management, and cost control.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams within a fast-paced construction environment; excellent supervisory skills required.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations related to concrete work including quality control procedures.
• Experience supervising multiple crews on large-scale projects with excellent managerial communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
