Superintendent - $100M Civic / Parks Project

Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join the team on a major $100M park revitalization project in Southern California.

The project will involve a comprehensive transformation of an existing community park, including new hardscape and landscape improvements, a community center, aquatic center, turf field and other site improvements.

Description

• Lead day-to-day field operations for a $100M civic/park project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.
• Manage project schedule, sequencing and site logistics.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with Project Management, ownership, architects and consultants.
• Review plans, specifications and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate subcontractor activities.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Maintain project schedules and communicate progress to project leadership.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications and company standards.

Profile

• 7-12+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent on complex commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, subcontractor coordination and site logistics.
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with owners, architects, consultants and internal project teams.
• A well-rounded commercial construction background is strongly preferred.
• Civic, public works, education, hospitality, recreation or similar project experience is a plus.
• Ground-up construction experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
