Superintendent for Painting Contractor Needed

Job Summary
We’re seeking a hands-on Construction Supervisor with direct field experience in Commercial Painting. to lead and oversee large-scale commercial painting projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate crews, manage project timelines, ensure quality standards, and uphold safety protocols. Your expertise in construction management and painting techniques will drive project success, ensuring client satisfaction while maintaining budget and schedule integrity. Duties

• Lead and supervise commercial painting crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and project execution
• Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work sites regularly, verifying schematic drawings and blueprints, and ensuring compliance with safety standards including OSHA regulations
• Manage project budgets by tracking labor and material costs.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure adherence to specifications and schematics
• Utilize construction site experience to oversee safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce OSHA standards for all team members
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately.

Qualifications

• Bilingual
• Valid driver license with the ability to be insured by companies insurance provider.
• Proven management experience supervising commercial painting projects or similar construction trades with a focus on leadership and team supervision
• Familiarity with construction site safety standards such as OSHA regulations and best practices in construction management
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of work
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting.
• Hands-on experience in quality control procedures within the construction industry
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively
• Valid safety certifications including OSHA training; additional certifications in construction management or related fields are a plus
