Superintendent/Manager

We have a need for a Superintendent who will be responsible for the planning, managing personal, quality, and layout. The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing multiple commercial projects, supervising cement construction, finish work, and coordinating with Foreman on project schedules.

An individual in this role is a professional and personable leader, committed to the success of projects and the organization, demonstrated by performing the following duties, where other applicable duties or responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.

The successful candidate will:

• Responsible for organizing construction projects
• Outline phase of work for his/her team
• Prepares the team on obstacles prior to mobilization
• Coordinates materials and tools needed for each task for optimal output
• Asist team with layout of complex projects
• Supervises employees to ensure they meet the performance goals
• Maintain quality standards for each project
• Manages sub-contractors by monitoring and controlling performance
• Meet with Owners, General Contractor and others in a professional manner and can communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company
• Ordering materials and delivery for projects

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Ability to read and interpret plans.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience/knowledge of construction
