Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations including opening and closing procedures.
• Drive store sales to achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated customer complaints.
• Train, schedule, and supervise store staff.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure productivity and discipline.
• Manage inventory including ordering, receiving, stock rotation (FIFO), and replenishment.
• Control shrinkage, damages, and loss prevention.
• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Monitor sales reports, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and safety regulations.
• Implement in-store promotions and merchandising as per company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum graduate (Bachelor’s degree mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in hypermarkets and supermarkets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
• Good knowledge of POS systems, inventory control, and retail operations.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Preferring candidates from Palakkad .

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Retail management: 5 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
