Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and highly motivated ABA Therapist to join our growing team. This role involves delivering direct ABA therapy in clients’ homes, schools, and community settings across Kitchener/Waterloo Region and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home and community settings.
• Implement individualized treatment programs and behaviour support plans.
• Collect accurate data and complete session documentation.
• Implement evidence-based ABA strategies
• Build positive, respectful relationships with learners and families.
• Work independently while following clinical direction.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Use person-centered and trauma-informed practices.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision.

Requirements

• Diploma/degree in Autism and Behavioural Science, Behavioural Science, ABA, Psychology, or a related field, or currently working toward a Master’s in ABA/related field.
• Previous direct ABA experience required.
• Experience working with individuals with autism.
• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes and communities.
• Available for after-school/evening hours.
• Valid driver's licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Willing to travel approximately 30 minutes from Kitchener-Waterloo.
• Able to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check/police check.
• Able to provide two professional references from relevant professionals/supervisors.
• First Aid/CPR is considered an asset.
