Supervising Paralegal – Immigration (VAWA & Family-Based)

Onsite – Financial District, NYC | Monday–Friday, 9–5

About the Role

An established NYC immigration law firm is looking for a Supervising Paralegal to lead its VAWA and family-based department. You’ll supervise a team of paralegals and legal assistants and carry your own caseload. This role reports to the Paralegal Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team’s work quality, case progress, deadlines, and production goals.
• Review filings for accuracy and USCIS compliance.
• Manage your own VAWA and family-based cases, including RFE and NOID responses.
• Work sensitively with clients, including survivors of domestic violence.
• Keep cases current in MyCase and Monday.com.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of immigration paralegal experience, with strong hands-on VAWA experience.
• Proven experience independently preparing and filing USCIS petitions.
• Background in a high-volume, deadline-driven practice.
• Supervisory experience, or readiness to step into a supervisory role.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and steady under pressure.
• MyCase and Monday.com experience is a plus.
