Supervisor Barista

We are looking for a dependable, engaging and experienced Supervisor Barista to join our team at the beginning of November 2026 at a small corporate site in Cambridge within a leading global biopharmaceutical company.

This is a hands-on supervisory role, perfect for someone who is passionate about great coffee, food and customer service while also being confident taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the site.

Working alongside a Hospitality & Tea Points Assistant and reporting to an Account Manager, you’ll oversee the coffee bar, hospitality, vending and tea point services, ensuring consistently high standards across the operation.

About the Role

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Typical hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
• Overseeing the day-to-day running of the coffee bar, hospitality, vending and tea point services
• Leading by example and providing friendly, professional customer service
• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and supporting the coffee bar throughout the day
• Ensuring hospitality and service areas are clean, well stocked and presented to a high standard
• Coordinating day-to-day hospitality requirements and ensuring requests are delivered smoothly
• Taking responsibility for daily health & safety, food safety and allergen control records
• Completing and filing site paperwork accurately and ensuring relevant information is provided to the Finance Administrator
• Liaising with the Account Manager and keeping them updated on the day-to-day operation of the site

About You!

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within hospitality, catering or a coffee environment
• Strong barista skills and a genuine passion for great coffee
• A passion for customer service, food and hospitality
• Confident taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a small operation
• Dependable, organised and able to work independently when required
• Comfortable completing paperwork and maintaining accurate records
• A supportive team player who is happy to be hands-on with all areas of the operation
• Committed to maintaining high standards of food safety, allergen control, health & safety and cleanliness
